Career Opportunity:	Business Development and Marketing Professional
Description and Responsibilities:	This important position requires one to act as a liaison and business development facilitator between Chernoff Diamond and its joint venture partner. With a home location in Roseland New Jersey, you will communicate and interface with approximately 200 affiliated professionals in offices in New Jersey, New York City, Long Island and Connecticut. In addition, your responsibilities will include (i) the coordination of business development activities between the affiliated professionals and Chernoff Diamond staff, (ii) design of communication and business development materials, (iii) presentations and communication of such materials and (iv) general support for internal and external marketing activities. You must become fully knowledgeable with respect to the services provided by Chernoff Diamond. You will be expected to continually expand your knowledge and professional capabilities. Chernoff Diamond will support your professional development.
Qualifications:	Education An undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related field is expected; an advanced degree is a significant plus.  Business & Professional Experience Minimum of five years experience in sales and/or marketing of financial or benefits related programs and products. Experience with employee benefits plans Ability to use technology to enhance communication and business development efforts Personal Characteristics Exceptional relationship building skills, including ability to work effectively with trusted client advisors. Strong marketing skills that demonstrate leadership, a commanding presence, and persuasive ability. Strong personal communication skills – written and verbal Highly motivated, goal oriented, and self-starter Able to think outside the box Willingness to travel several times each month between offices and clients in the tri-state area
Compensation:	Significant base salary commensurate with skills, expertise and experience plus substantial performance based compensation.
